You’ll find the largest showcase of pro built sports bikes along with tons of other bikes like choppers from Sam Nehme and plenty of Harleys. Robert Fisher and Roaring Toyz will be showcasing a Kawasaki ZX-14 custom build for Ludacris. Match Hotch, 2 time Biker Build off Champion, will also be there as well as Nick Anglada of Custom Sportsbike Concepts, Louise Grasse of H2o Cycles, and many more!
Admission is $13 for adults, but you can grab your tickets online for $11. You can also pick up a 3-day pass for $20. Children 6-11 get in for $6, and 5 and under are free. The show starts right now actually, January 18th at 4pm and runs until 9pm tonight. Saturday (Jan 19th) they’ll open the doors at 9:30am and go until 8pm. Sunday you can stop by between 9:30am and 5pm, so there’s plenty of time for you to see this awesome showcase of bikes.
If weather permits we’ll be heading down to ATL in the morning, so if you’re attending this event drop me a comment or email (jshustermanATcharterDOTnet) and we’ll meet up!
I’m going to head to the She Rides store in Atlanta this weekend if I get a chance. I noticed today that both of my favorite motorcycle shirts have holes in them! One is my She Rides “feminine adrenaline” shirt, and it sucks because I don’t think they make those anymore.
I really wish I could find some funny t-shirts with motorcycle stuff on them. We’ve all got the typical Alpinestars and Icon shirts, but I want something that’s funny. I wear a lot of funny t-shirts, so why shouldn’t I be able to find a funny one with a motorcycle, too?
I might just have to start looking around online for something that I like, and if I can’t find anything I might just design my own.
I really wish I had a dirt bike or 4wheeler right now. It snowed like crazy last night, and since the Blazer is still in the shop we didn’t have anything to play in the snow. We’ve got my dad’s 4×4 Tracker, and it makes an awesome snow toy, but he’d kill us if we wrecked it, so it’s staying put in the driveway.
This is what I’d really like to be doing right now.
This morning I’m totally missing the fact that I can’t head over to Killboy.com to check out this week’s photo highlights. That’s normally one way I cure my boredom checking out which of my friend’s made the front page, but I can’t do that right now. With it being the off season for Deal’s Gap there aren’t a lot of photographers that want to stand in the cold on the side of the road snapping photos of a bike here and there.
What do I do when I can’t check out the photos? Now I don’t go looking at girlie things like diamond pendants. Instead I watch Killboy’s Pocketbikes At Deal’s Gap video. It will always be one of my personal faves!
