I’m working on setting up a photo site right now that will house all my photos and videos from now on. I just happen to have another domain that I’m not using, so I thought what the heck. I might as well turn it into something! I don’t have many photos up, but I will be adding more as I get things sorted out. I’ll definitely be adding more if we get to go to the Gap on Wednesday (weather permitting).
You’ll be able to view all photos at http://www.benshuey.com/photos

Remember when I mentioned what can happen to a girl’s face if she doesn’t clean her helmet? Well I’ve got it going on again this week. After riding and sweating so much Saturday my helmet held in all that sweat and dirt. After wearing it just a couple hours today my face is already breaking out like crazy tonight.
How do I know it’s my helmet causing it? It’s my cheeks that are breaking out, right where my pads touch. That’s the way it usually goes. Thank goodness I finally found a natural acne treatment that clears it up practically overnight.
At least the highlight of my day is that our photos are now up on Zeefoto, US129, Moonshine, and Killboy. I’m waiting on the Killboy highlights right now as they’re being posted to see if Little A made it on the front page.
Once I’ve got all the photos sorted I’ll share our Photoreflect albums, but you’ll just have to wait for that!

Man this weekend was so much fun! I didn’t end up riding very much at all, but I still had a lot of fun. We rode up to Deal’s Gap really early Saturday morning, and we met up with our friend’s at one of the local’s house. We spent a few hours riding, then as everyone started to tire we headed back to Ray’s house for an awesome BBQ. We got to meet a lot of the locals, and we just all hung out having a great time.
Ben got to ride Rodney’s 2006 GSXR 750 since our bike is still in the shop, and he absolutely loved it. He’s been trying to convince me to let him get a 1000, and I told him I thought he should get a 750. After this weekend he’s sold on the 750. He’s still a bit away from dragging a knee, but the body position on the 750 sets him up for it so much better.
Here’s Ben getting a feel for the 750.

Ray always looks good no matter how crappy the camera is.

We made quite a few trips through in the Blazer as well since Little A hung out with me and Rodney most of the day. We parked at one of the pull offs so he could watch his mama riding through. I didn’t get many photos, but I did snap a few with my little point and shoot. If I had a DSLR I would have been in heaven. As soon as I get one I’m definitely taking a trip up there with it.
Alli always came by so fast she was nothing but a blur in any of the photos I took. We’ll have to wait and buy some from Killboy, Moonshine, and Zeefoto.

We left a lot later than we had planned. From Ray’s house it’s about a 3 1/2 hr trip home, so I took a few books with me, but we ended up leaving so late it was super dark. Reading was out of the question. We did however get to ride through at night while some of the locals were out playing, and it was gorgeous. The sky glowed across the mountain from all the cars and bikes riding up.
We would have stayed overnight for the night runs with the locals if it hadn’t been Mother’s Day yesterday. We just really needed to get home. Alli stayed though, and she said it was absolutely awesome.
