Showing Some Love To The Cars
I’m so glad we’re almost done with the bike because that means I can move on to my next project. Sure, I don’t mind sinking money into the bike, but there are other things I’ve been wanting to do to our 4 wheeled vehicles for years. I fell in love with a Turbocharged Saturn years ago, and I’ve vowed that one day I would turbo my little Saturn SC2. The only problem is that no one makes a turbo charger for it. You have to do a custom build, but hey, I’m up for it. I’ve seen a ton of Youtube videos from guys who have done just that, and I drool over every one of them.
Video Update & Comments Issues
Ok I’m moving the video to it’s own post. I’ve had a couple people complaining that they couldn’t see the video in the other post, and someone suggested it might be because of the photo. There’s really no telling what’s going on especially since it’s a fairly crappy cell phone video. Here it is though.
Now I need to spend some time messing with my comments again. Something was seriously screwed up when I upgraded to WP 2.6. My comments haven’t worked since. To approve comments I have to manually go into phpMyAdmin and approve from there. It’s time consuming, and it drives me crazy, but it was working. Now I’ve got a new problem. Now the comment count isn’t showing correctly on posts, so posts that do have comments still show as 0.
It looks like I’m going to have to wipe the comments completely from my database, and I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to lose the comments that I do have. My other option is to install Disqus like I have on a couple of my other blogs, so I might just be doing that. It would definitely be the easier option, and I wouldn’t have to lose my older comments. I might just have to go that route.

I Passed Up That For This?
Boy do I regret my decisions to stay home today. I passed up a chance to go to the Suzuki Superbike Showdown at Road Atlanta to stay home with the family for a cookout and the Clemson game. Normally, I don’t let anything get in the way of me watching my Tigers, but tonight I’m seriously disgusted. I can’t believe I missed the Showdown for that game! Our boys looked like just that…a bunch of boys out their playing the first football game of their life! WTF happened?
Anywho, at least I enjoyed the cookout. We ate a ton of awesome food. My father-in-law grilled some of the best shrimp I’ve had in a while. After we were stuffed I helped my mother-in-law do a few things on her computer. I installed a keylogger so she can keep tabs on Hubby’s little sister. Apparently she’s been browsing a lot of sites that she was told are off limits.
Right about the time I settled in to watch the game Alli started sending me texts telling me how awesome the showdown was. She’s going to give me a complete rundown tomorrow, but the one photo she sent told me just how much fun she was having.
She sent me a small video, too, just to rub it in.
EDIT: I had a couple of comments complaining that the video wasn’t working because it seemed like the photo wasn’t allowing it to load. I’m moving it to another post without any images.

Pocket Bike Fun
All this rain we’ve had all week makes me want to do one thing…get out and ride. That’s exactly what I’m going to do later today. I’m going to play around on pocket bikes with one of my friends. I’ve been telling Hubby for awhile now that I want a pocket bike, but we’ve never seriously talked about it. I’m interested in the x18 although I like the x19 as well.
After today I might be begging him for one, but I might have to hold off for a few months. I did just convince him to let me narrow down my choices of bar sinks to a few I know he’ll like. I’ve been begging him to build me a wet bar for awhile, and I think getting him to agree to one thing at a time is good enough. I don’t want to push my luck!
