What do you think about this custom bike that was brought to my attention via Helmet Hair Motorcycle Blog?  I can’t figure out if I like it or not, but I know it’s definitely unusual.  Hubby totally loved it, but we often tend to have varying tastes when it comes to custom bikes.

I like the fender, but I’m not so sure I dig how bright the green is on the rims.  I do feel a whole Ninja Turtle vibe, though!

Sometimes I totally have to laugh at the way Hubby’s mind works.  Today he came home from his parent’s house going on and on about how he’s decided we’re definitely going to have to get a cruiser now that we’re going to be parents.  I totally didn’t understand that.  What does being a parent have to do with getting a cruiser? 

His replied that he had just ridden his Dad’s VStar around for a bit, and it reminded him that it’d be easier to do the “family thing” on a cruiser because he can get a sidecar for the baby to ride in when she gets big enough.  He better be freakin’ joking because there’s no way in hell.  When she’s big enough to ride she’ll do so, but we don’t need a sidecar for her!

As for the cruiser…that’s a possibility though. 

I just wanted to stop by for a minute to say I’m totally having Deal’s Gap withdrawals today.  We haven’t made a single trip up there this year, and it sucks.  There really isn’t much for me to do right now anyway other than sitting on the side of the road snapping pictures and watching everyone else have fun, so it would be a waste of a trip anyway.

That did get me thinking about next riding season and what we’re going to do with the baby.  Will we ever take her to Deal’s Gap with us or will she stay home with one of the Grandparents for the day?  Hubby really wants to take her up there at least once next season, and we may just have to plan a short trip to do so.  I did find the cutest little onsie that’s printed to look like a little biker jacket, so I’ll definitely have to get her one of those if we do decide to take her up there.
