Limited Edition Seahawks Sodas

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Jones Soda. All opinions are 100% mine.

People who know me in real life know I’m a huge football fan.  Actually I’ll take football over bikes anyday.  If a Clemson game is on TV you better believe I’m not riding during the game.  You go ride without me all you want, but my butt is going to be glued to the couch while I stuff my face with chips and yell at the TV.

I prefer college football over professional, but I do watch pro football some.  I’m just not glued to the TV for every game.  A lot of that also has to do with the fact that I was an Eagles fan, but with the whole Michael Vick thing I’ve been boycotting them.  Until Vick is gone I’m pulling for another team…I just haven’t figured out what team that is yet.

I could decide to move away from the East coast teams all together and go with the Seattle Seahawks.  At least I’d be keeping with the whole fowl theme lol.  The Seahawks even have their own soda!  Ok so it’s not exactly their own soda.  The sodas are a limited edition collector’s version of Jones Soda, but it’s still cool. I can totally see myself watching the game while drinking the cream soda or berry lemonade flavors. I totally love cream soda. There’s also a green apple flavor, but I’m not real big on green apple.

If I knew anyone who was a Seahawks fan I’d totally pick up one of these collector’s editions for a Christmas present. It’d probably be the easiest Christmas present I picked out because you can’t go wrong with buying a collector’s edition of anything for a fan. I’d like to see an Eagles version of Jones Soda. Even though I’m boycotting the Eagles Hubby’s dad is a huge fan, and that’d knock yet another gift off my list.

Something Nice

Even though my Dad is totally anti-motorcycles he did something for me that I didn’t expect.  He came across a set of motorcycle themed handcrafted ornaments at the flea market this week, and he bought them for me.  I figured if I were to do something like decorate my Christmas tree with motorcycles he’d tell me it looked horrible, so I was seriously surprised he showed up with the little box full of motorcycle ornaments.  Maybe it’s the spirit of the season that has him doing something out of the ordinary.  I’ll have to take a photo of one of them because they’re cute as can be!

What Will I Do?

Lately I’ve been wondering if my little girl will grow up loving motorcycles as much as I do.  Will she be a tomboy or will she be a prissy little girl?  If she’s anything like me she’ll turn 16 and decide she’d rather have a bike than a car.  What will my reaction be?  Will I actually let her get a bike or will I tell her she’s got to get one on her own?  It’s definitely a lot to think abo.

Christmas Around The Corner

Now that we’ve hit December we all know Christmas is right around the corner.  I dread the holiday season because I never know what to buy anyone, and I totally don’t have the time to shop.  Every year I vow to get my holiday shopping done early, and every year I end up running around at the last minute trying to buy gifts before the stores close on Christmas Eve.

I already had a feeling I’d be doing that this year because of the baby, but now I know I’ll be shopping last minute.  At least Hubby and I have already bought gifts for each other.  He got me a netbook, and I got him the home theater system he’s been wanting.  Now we just need to worry about everyone else.  I’m thankful the baby won’t be old enough to really buy for this year, but we’ll have to go all out next year.
