Playing Around With My Camera

The wind didn’t die down enough to take a ride. I really wanted to ride today, so that totally sucked. We gave up and went shopping picking up a few things at Lowes then stopping by the local furniture store to see if they carried any of the Coaster furniture I’ve been eyeing online. They didn’t, so we came home.

Right at dusk we decided to test out how the video feature on my camera does in the dark, and that sucked, too. Hubby hopped on the bike, and I shot a video of him riding by our house to see how well the camera did. First of all, like I said it was dusk. There was still plenty of light, and on the camera itself you can actually see the bike. Watching the video on my computer all I can see is the headlights. On top of that the continuous AF was turned on, so you hear a constant clicking. Here’s the video if you want to see how crappy it was, but I’ll probably be testing it out in the daylight tomorrow.

Bad Ass Kid With Pocket Bike

I finally found that video I’ve been wanting to share. Every time I see this video I think “that’s going to be my kid”. I’m going to use this one as a means to hopefully convince my best friend we need to buy a pocket bike for her son.

Ice Racing

I really wish I had a dirt bike or 4wheeler right now. It snowed like crazy last night, and since the Blazer is still in the shop we didn’t have anything to play in the snow. We’ve got my dad’s 4×4 Tracker, and it makes an awesome snow toy, but he’d kill us if we wrecked it, so it’s staying put in the driveway.

This is what I’d really like to be doing right now.
