LOL I just stumbled upon a free online dictionary that I thought was kind of cool and worth sharing.  Have you ever heard someone use a bike related term, but you weren’t exactly sure what they were talking about but you were afraid you’d sound like an idiot if you asked them what it meant?

Bring on the Motorcycle Bikers Dictionary to help you out!  You can use this free resource to learn all the terms you didn’t know, and you can also submit your own bike related words and phrases to be added.  Oh, and the next time you call someone a squid and they’re so squiddy they ask “What’s that?” just tell them to go look it up!

Hubby and I were joking around tonight. We’re supposed to go back to Deal’s Gap on Wednesday, and he was joking about different ways to finally make the front page of Killboy. He swears everyone he knows has made Killboy except him. Alli makes it almost every time she goes up there, but she’s a chick on a bike. Therefore she’s always “chickonabike”. Last week she made it from “chicksonabike” (of course another chick riding with her), and then she made it again for being the coolest mama, letting Little A ride with her.

I jokingly mentioned to Hubby that he could make it by posting my blog address all over his bike, and he decided it was a great idea! Free advertising for me, and he makes it onto front page!

Now that we’ve discussed it I thought hey, it’s not a such a bad idea after all. I’ve got a ton of blogs, and some of my blogs earn a good portion of my income. I advertise them in other ways, business cards, fliers, online advertising, so why not on the bike?

VistaPrint offers the perfect solution! I can order custom magnets! I already order business cards from VistaPrint, and I know their quality is excellent. They make car magnets, and I’m sure I could probably special order a specific magnet size if a car magnet is too large!

I have to admit. In a certain way I love squids. Why? They give me a reason to laugh!

Like there was the guy a couple weeks ago who tried to tell us he was leaning so hard he was dragging his rear pegs. When I pointed out the location of his shiny pretty pipe he told me it was a slip on that he took off before riding hard.

Then there was the kid who kept referring to his flush mounts as inset lighting fixtures. I swear some people will do or say anything to try to look good.

Why can’t they just realize it’s not about trying to look good to fit in. If they would ride within their limits and admit what their limits are we’d have a lot less people looking like idiots and a lot less accidents.

When it comes to those who ride around in shorts and flip flops though, you’re not a damn squid. You’re a damn idiot!  It’s like that guy who rides through the Gap in what looks like a diaper.  If you want to scrape your skin off your bones because you’re practically naked, you’re an idiot.  You’re the type that ruins it for the rest of us.

Yep, yet again the trip to The Gap is canceled. Damn it I just want all this rain to go away! I’m getting so sick of it!

Anywho, did you know having 6 motorcycles in your basement, even when 4 of them don’t have any gas in them, it can build up dangerous fumes? :-p That’s what the natural gas man tried to tell us last night.

I rode 2 up last night with hubby, and we got stuck coming home in a down pour. That was interesting because it’s the first time I’ve ridden with him in the rain since his wreck. I could feel him tensing up as the rain fell harder, but we made it home safely without any freak outs. Go hubby!

I guess if we can’t go on our trip this weekend I’m going to make hubby do something else. I’ve been wanting to hit up the Anderson Flea Market since there’s a vendor there that sells really nice teak furniture that I love. I’ve been wanting to buy a new set of furniture for the back patio, so this just might be the weekend I do it.
