Sorry I haven’t been posting much over here. We’ve had so much going on over the holidays that I just haven’t had that much time to spend online. We both have rather large families, and we spent last week getting ready for Christmas and this week running from place to place. We’ve had a Christmas dinner almost every day for the past week, and that gets very exhausting.

We did rack up some nice presents, but I care more about giving than receiving. I went out of my way this year to make sure I put as much into giving as I could afford to. In the past we’ve been tight on money normally around Christmas time, but this year I made sure I donated to a couple charities just because I could.

Today I made Hubby move the bike out of the guest room long enough for me to go through that closet. I loaded up a ton of coats and sweaters that I never wear and took them off to Goodwill. Now we finally have room in that closet to store the rest of the bike parts that we don’t need until I have time to list them on Ebay.

Now I’m going to take some of the cash we did get for Christmas and put it to good use buying one last part I need for the bike. The tail light we have didn’t work. It was labeled for an 01-02, but it’s off an 03-05, so I’m hoping to pick up the correct one this weekend.

So, what did you get for Christmas this year? Lots of bike stuff? Hubby and I actually didn’t receive anything bike related this year, and I was surprised. His favorite give is a Subway gift card his sis gave him. He eats there multiple times a week because it’s the only fast food type place up the mountain where he works, and he just loves Subway. He’d own a Subway franchise if I’d let him.
