How freakin’ cute is this motorcycle jacket romper from What On Earth?  It’s very similar to the one I spotted awhile back that I wanted to order for my baby girl, only thing one is way cuter! 

I’m not digging on the price tag of $24.95, but I’m going to show it to our friend anyway because I think this just might be the solution to finding some kind of motorcycle costume for his 6 month old son’s Halloween costume.  I think it’s just too adorable!

With Halloween just around the corner (yes it really is only a month away) it’s time to start thinking about costumes.  I seriously have no idea what I’m going to be this year.  How do you dress a big pregnant belly for Halloween?  Hubby thinks I should just paint my belly into a big pumpkin!

At least when it comes to kids it’s so much easier to figure out a costume, and Hubby’s bff has decided his 6 month old son is going to be a little biker.  Now we just have to find him a little costume that isn’t all Harley-ish.  If he were a little older he could get something like this Forum Novelties Children’s Costume Ride a Chopper, but we’ll have to find something for a baby instead.  Unfortunately everything we’re finding seems to be of the Harley Davidson type, so we’ll have to work a little harder to find something for him.

I absolutely love Icon’s Field Armor line, and my only regret is that a woman can’t wear the vest. If I could squash my boobs underneath it you better believe I’d have one to wear under my jacket. Unfortunately I can’t turn my melons into nothing, so I have to keep dreaming about that vest instead.

Now I’m happy to say I finally have a Field Armor type option though. Icon just came out with the Women’s Bombshell Vest. It’s a cut down version of the Bombshell Leather Jacket that I’m already so in love with. Sure there are other women’s vests out there, but not with the Field Armor back plate that I want, and that’s exactly what has been added to the Bombshell Vest. You’ll never catch me riding around with just the vest on, but I would definitely love to have it as extra protection under my jacket, especially on days I choose to wear my textile jacket.

It’s definitely going to cost me a pretty penny to pick it up though. The Bombshell Vest retails for $250. That’s more expensive than the home theater furniture Hubby tried to convince me to buy when he wanted to turn the guest room into our own movie theater.

Just because us girls aren’t your typical girls who want pink motorcycles and helmets doesn’t mean we’re not still girlie in a way. Yeah we don’t dress up, and we don’t ride around trying to look cute, but we still like to go shopping from time to time. We’re planning a shopping trip to the mall tomorrow, and if the weather holds out we’re going to take the bikes. Gas prices are just so high right now!

I know you’re thinking “How the hell are you going shopping on the bikes? You don’t have room for anything!” We’re definitely taking a tank bag and a back pack, but mostly I think we’re just wanting to get out of the house for window shopping. Lord knows both of us have spent plenty of cash shopping online this week, so it’ll be nice to look around in a brick and mortar for a change.

Nope, I won’t be buying one of those Ladybug steam cleaners I like, but I can still look around! See, the bike really does save me cash after all.
